2022 was an especially great year for us here at Native Atlantic!! We took our 1st Official Cross-Country Tour, driving straight from hometown Baltimore across 70-West all the way out to Utah and then down to the Nevada/ California area, stopping at state parks, national parks, and zoos alike in all major cities. We then took 10-East thru the southwest, on thru Texas, stopped at the gorgeous Memphis Zoo, and then crossed the breathtaking Blue-Ridge Mountains of Appalachia and took 81 back North up thru the awe-inspiring caverns and cliffs of West Virginia. Then to 70 and back home... What a ride!! Later that year, we had the opportunity to do further tours into the Outer Banks region of North Carolina, and Swamps of Savannah, Georgia and Hilton-head Island, South Carolina. And in a late winter run for some warmth and sunshine, we visited the vast wild borderlands of the Tuscon area of AZ! Back home in the Baltimore Area we spent countless hours, observing and documenting species at some of our favorite parks including, Marshy Point, Soldier's Delight, Conowingo Dam, Cromwell Valley and Loch Raven Reservoir, and Roland Lake.
