Martin "Ameni Nagas" Carrington IV
5 Years ago I founded Native Atlantic with the idea of turning my passion for wildlife and my natural libra eye for aesthetics, into both a viable business to support myself and my family, but also a means of fulfilling my sense charity and higher purpose. I've been very blessed in life and wanted to give back to Mother Nature and to my community, both to whom I owe very much.
I combined my heart for adventure and photography, with the professional skills I honed as a Naturalist and Volunteer for Maryland DNR, and I went to work, out in the field, shooting my shots, until I mastered my lot!! I spent countless hours at public and private zoos, private residences, state and national parks, wildlife refuges, arboretums and more. Eventually parks began to pay me for photo and video content. Private exotic pet owners would commission me for portraits, and many people would request guided nature tours.
Soon, I became We, as a partnership was built around creating social programs and products for urban and/or under-privileged individuals to learn about, experience, and enjoy nature and wildlife. Both Live Seminars and Online courses were created, immersing participants in nature interactions, and photography. We now offer full nature tours and outfitting as well.
I'm also proud to say today that Native Atlantic is now fully monetized, sustainable and effective. 20% of all profits now go directly to species care at Native Atlantic. We now offer a wide array of Native Atlantic Brand support products. We have books preparing for release, and new episodes of Native Atlantic Wildlife Adventures on YouTube.com. And recently www.NativeAtlantic.com launched in October of 2021.
Last year we also Launched Native Atlantic Wildlife & Nature Group on Facebook, so Supporters can participate in weekly Challenges with Cash and Other Prizes, keep up with Native Atlantic events, and have fun posting your very own Nature and Wildlife photo and videos!!
