Every Fall Native Atlantic nominates Outstanding Future Wildlife Photographers, and equips them with a brand-new Camera, Telephoto lens, Outdoor Apparel, Hiking boots, and all kinds of cool Naturalist Gear! Applicants from age 8-17, submit portfolios of their work, or a well-written essay on why they want to become a Wildlife Photographer, along with a clear selfie of them at any state or municipal park. This upcoming year 2024, We will be Accepting Applications starting in June and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Nominees will be selected by September 1st. Winners will be Highlighted on our home page for an entire year, until the next years selections. For more info on how to apply, please contact us.
When Spring blossoms, Native-Atlantic assists various community gardening organizations, in the Baltimore Metro Area with construction and setup. Along with Your donations, and help from a few volunteers for labor, we are able to create lovely garden spaces, and food sources for local communities to learn, engage, and enjoy. For more info, or to nominate a community you believe could benefit from this program, please feel free to contact us.
Since its founding Native-Atlantic has annually donated funds to various wildlife and nature conservation organizations. Some times it's state parks or their respective "Friends-of" groups., sometimes it's privately owned Wildlife Rescue Centers, and Veterinary Hospitals. Help us, help others!
